Are you thinking about purchasing a used Precor elliptical machine? This is a great choice, as Precor is in the forefront of innovative ellipticals. But there are a few things to keep in mind.
If you are going to be buying your used exercise equipment from a sports store or even the manufacturer or possibly even a gym, find out if there is a warranty and how long it lasts. You don't want to get your machine home and have it break down the first time you try to use it. While Precors are very durable, that doesn't mean the person (or people) who owned it prior to you didn't abuse it beyond its normal use. It's really better to be safe than sorry. If possible, try it out in the store or club before you take it home. Make sure it works smoothly. Make sure all the preset programs and resistnace levels work as they should.
